Dorrigo National Park Skywalk

Dorringo National Park is most famous for it's skywalk. If you have some more time though it's worth taking a look at Danger Falls.

Shelving Beach

At the most southern point of the Great barrier Reef you will find the great Keppel island. One of it's beaches is Shelving Beach. Very secluded and private with a good chance of swimming with turtles. If anything a nice place to go snorkling and enjoy some of the reef.

City Botanic Gardens

Like many other big cities Brisbane also has it's own City Botanic Garden. A nice walk with some wildlife and a lot of different fauna to enjoy.

In the last weeks of my first year in Australia I drove from Sydney up to Rockhampton to see the coastline. This trip is not complete without a stop at the Koala Hospital

To earn my second year visa I had to do farm work. I ended up on a farm where I mostly did a lot of fencing. I had to strengthen the barbed wire with so called "droppers". One heck of a job!

Main Beach

If you look closely at the sand you will see that somebody created a jing jang type of figure. A budhist monk (at least I think) was making sand art using nothing else but a rake and the clean fine Byron Bay Sand. The outcome is quite unique

Clarence River

If you travel landinwards near the Queensland boarder towards Casino and Melanganee it's very nice to just cool down in a creek or river somewhere. Be carefull the strong currents don't pull you away
