At the most southern point of the Great barrier Reef you will find the great Keppel island. One of it's beaches is Shelving Beach. Very secluded and private with a good chance of swimming with turtles. If anything a nice place to go snorkling and enjoy some of the reef.
When visiting Darwin there are a couple of things you should see according to Lonely Planet. Darwin's Chinese Temple is one of them. Although the temple was very disapointing to me this picture is quite nice (and misleading)
Like many other big cities Brisbane also has it's own City Botanic Garden. A nice walk with some wildlife and a lot of different fauna to enjoy.
Toronga Wild Rhinos Artists Program is a nice surprise if you visit Sydney before the of April.The rhinos will create a trail from Sydney to Dubbo and surrounds from February to April. I almost bumped into this one while crossing the street
If you look closely at the sand you will see that somebody created a jing jang type of figure. A budhist monk (at least I think) was making sand art using nothing else but a rake and the clean fine Byron Bay Sand. The outcome is quite unique
