Basil-Gin Lemonade 1 bunch basil, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups gin, 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice, 3/4 cup triple sec, 1 orange In medium saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups water, sugar and basil to boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring, until sugar dissolves; let cool, refrigerate until cold. Strain into a clean container, pressing down on basil to extract any liquids; discard basil. In a pitcher, combine basil syrup, gin, lemon juice, triple sec. Stir in basil, lemon, and orange. Serve over ice.
