This is the 30" opening for a bridge when "O" scale was first laid out.

This is a Scratch-Built Plate Girder Bridge to fill a 30" opening on the dual track upper "O" layout. It cost less than $15 to build since I used leftover plastic window channel for the steel and rivets were half gemstone plastic self adfhesive beeds from HL.
