St Mura's Church, Upper Fahan Parish, County Donegal, Ireland (1820). Change of angle from the usual frontal shot. Very well maintained church and graveyard. Quite a lot of WW1 and WW2 graves in this graveyard.

Fahan Cross, Co. Donegal: The 7th century Celtic interlace cross from the Fahan churchyard in County Donegal, Ireland, is thought to be one of the earliest versions of the famous Celtic sun cross designs in Ireland. On the opposite side of the cross is the only Greek inscription found from early Christian Ireland reading "Glory and honour to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit". A monastery was founded here by St. Colmcille in the 7th century which survived for 500 years.

Laurentic Conference, May 10, 2013, Buncrana, Ireland. remembering the soldiers who died when SS Laurentic sank in Lough Swilly Co Donegal in 1917. Laurentic was built by Harland Wolff in Belfast, same shipyard that launched Titanic a few years later. She was a White Star Line steamer, built to serve the booming trans-Atlantic passenger trade, then ordered as a transport ship ferrying soldiers war materials around the globe. While carrying out these duties that Laurentic met her end.

Laurentic Conference Buncrana - A major conference will take place at the end of this month to help the diaspora in the United States and Canada better connect with their roots.
