This sculpture is part of the Franklin Mint Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each of the cats in the collection represents a different style of art. This particular 2.5" long model represents the Netsuke style of 17th century Japan. A Netsuke was a decorative carved fastener for pouches and other containers hanging from the belt of a traditional Japanese garment.
