Scheepsmodel William Rex, Cornelis Moesman, Adriaen de Vriend 1698. This model shows the appearance of a Dutch warship in the late 17th century. It was made at the dockyards of Vlissingen (Flushing), where real warships were also built. These would have been more than twelve times larger than this model. This ship has 72 guns. The model was displayed in the council chamber of the Admiralty of Zeeland in Middelburg.
