Henk Feldmeijer was a Dutch Nazi collaborator, who was given the task of organizing the Dutch SS. Feldmeijer served twice in combat with the German SS, first in Yugoslavia and Greece and, later, in Southern Russia, and eventually attained the rank of Hauptsturmführer (captain) in the Waffen-SS. In Feb 1945 he was re-assigned to combat duty but was killed en route to the front after Allied fighters strafed the car he was traveling in.
