https://flic.kr/p/HVL1kk | here there be nymphs and dryads :) | a rockface of multiple small waterfalls coming down a tremendously high mountain (Hestur mountain) in Hestfjordur along Iceland's Westfjords. The whole scenario looked so enchanting I thought this had to be a natural bathtub destined to offer dryads and nymphs a refreshing bath ;) National Geographic | BR-Creative | chbustos.com

https://flic.kr/p/HGvmV6 | and yet another waterfall in Skaftafell | Hundafoss in Skaftafell mountain range, being on the same hiking route that brought us finally to the magnificent Svartifoss. This one is smaller and does not have that smashing array of columbar basalt but I found its rock formations and location very beautiful nonetheless. Happy Textural Tuesday! https://flic.kr/p/KC8yY3 | when you experience the awe of nature's creations | Photographers at the edge of Godafoss waterfall in Central-North Iceland. It is not just the scale and beauty of this waterfall but its entire environment, the amazing river canyon formed from columnar basalt, the surrounding mountains and the sheer scale that make you feel elated and dizzy. I shot this scenario for I liked the different perspective offered. National Geographic | BR-Creative | chbustos.com

Despite our research in the map we have not been able to find a name for it, but maybe I create one once my Icelandic knowledge is better. National Geographic | BR-Creative | chbustos.com

Gjain Canyon is a heavenly spot, nestling close to the waterfalls Haifoss and Granni. The sight of a maze of little falls snaking through luxuriant vegetation is quite rare in Iceland.

Looking right up at the main plunge of Djúpavíkurfoss from town, Djúpavik / Reykjarfjörður / Strandir Coast, Westfjords, Iceland

Djupavikurfoss was our waterfalling excuse to visit the hauntingly beautiful and lonely town of Djupavik (meaning "deep bay") on the Strandir Coast of the Westfjords.
