The Maniq (มันนิ) are the only Negrito group in Thailand  speak Maniq, a Non–Khmer language. It's thought they once spoke a language similar to the Andamanese but adopted the language of the Mon–Khmer people around them.  They're a hunter-gatherers  build temporary huts of bamboo w/ banana leaf roofs, hunting many types of animals  consume many kinds of vegetables  fruits. They wear simple clothes made of things like bamboo leaves  are familiar with many species of medicinal herbs.
