I didn't always love Formula One, though I don't remember ever *not* liking it. But I never had a favourite driver until Kimi entered the scene. Something about his grumpiness (and his Finnishness) turns me on and I'm always happiest at the end of a Grand Prix if Kimi is on the podium, because he seems to not really give much of a shit about the adulation and just wants to get on with the ritual drinking of Champagne. Respect.
Cute story: 6 year old Thomas from France, the little Kimi and Ferrari fan, cried when Räikkonen crashed out. Thomas got the chance to meet his idol, Kimi Räikkönen, which gave him a big smile. The best story to come out of the weekend!
