When setting up I first raise the roof 18 inches to 24 inches, then stop and remove the PUG solar covers from their storage position and install them on each end of the camper by slipping the J Channel over the perimeter roof seal. In this pic the covers are oriented for cold weather use, with the reflective side facing into the tenting. During the hot summer months I reverse them so the reflective side is facing out. If we plan on using the awning I find it easier to unroll it at this time…
