Cornstarch, water, colour creates an easy way to enhance the water in your water table! The kids can mix the colours and see what other colours they can make.

How to make an enchantment water spell.  1. Fill a bowl with a little salted water  2. Light a white candle and place it where the flame is reflected into the water. 3. Write on a piece of paper your desire, with a water coloured marker or a pencil while visualizing the thing you want.  4. Wait for the writing on the paper to evaporate.  5. The spell is now cast now pour the water and paper into the earth.

Water colours and cling wrap equals cool effects!  Have done this...way fun!  Also worked on a larger scale...mark out irregular shapes on concrete, leaving room for concrete to look like grout, and paint shapes in shades of gray, do this, & voila!  Slate floor!

Did this with my 10 year old while practicing some basic skills. Water color turned out to be too tricky of a medium, even though this seemed fairly straight forward and difficult to mess up. It was hard for her to figure out how much paint to get to keep it from being too dark.
