William Moore (March 3, 1893 - November 22, 1951) was the only Virginian country bluesman to record for the Paramount label (1928 in Chicago). As a resident of Tappahannock, Virginia, Bill Moore recorded sixteen sides for Paramount Record Company in 1928. His four 78 rpm records are highly sought by collectors and have been numerously re-released on LP and CD compilation albums.  #TodayInBlackHistory
