Queen Marie wearing her sapphire and diamond Parure. The sapphire hanging from the necklace was at the time the worlds largest sapphire, weighing 478 carats. The tiara once belonged to Grand Duchess Vladimir.
HRH Princess Marie of Denmark. Originally this tiara belonged to Princess Dagmar (1890-1961), the youngest daughter of Frederik VIII and Queen Louise. Princess Dagnar married Master of the Royal Hunt Jørgen Castenskiold in 1922.
