Gadget pomander cane. The silver knob is decorated on the top of white enamel with roses. It opens with a garnet button, on a first compartment closed with a silver grid used to put incenses or dry flowers. Underneath it opens with a hinge on a big space in the knob wich can be used for pills or secrets. This knob is decorated in the "rocaille style" with cartouche and monogram. Knob's measures : 2,5'' high by 1,4'' diameter. Overall length of the cane : 37,6''. France 1880.
