A GEORGE II SILVER-GILT CUP AND COVER MARK OF PAUL DE LAMERIE, LONDON, 1745 Inverted bell shaped and on a spreading foot, the foot and lower body each cast and chased with scrolling foliage, the body further applied with a winged putto holding a bunch of grapes, with two shell capped scroll handles, the detachable cover similarly cast and chased and with a finial cast as a bunch of grapes, later engraved with a coat-of-arms on one side and a crest on the other  sold 87,650 GBP
