Found in second hand shop for just a few €: beautiful box Old Anglo Indian Sadeli. Inlay with bone, ivory, sandal wood, copper and ebony. All sides are covered with different beautiful mosaic patterns, even the bottom is covered. In front is the lid, behind the inside of the box. In very good shape.

Two mitered boxes with Kumiko panels in the lids. The two patterns are Sakura (cherry blossom) and Kasane-rindo (star shape). The joinery was completed on the table saw and final fitting was performed with hand planes.
