Hell On Earth: East Prussia 1945 - The rage of the Soviet soldiers was terrible. There were very few who had not suffered in some way from the Nazi invasion. Most had lost relatives, their homes and belongings under German occupation. Almost every soldier was overwhelmed by an insatiable craving for revenge. The first Germans they met suffered most. Many civilians were indiscriminately killed, women were raped, property was destroyed.

East Prussia in 1945 was hell Earth as the vengeful Red Army raped German women and destroyed the German army. The Battle of east Prussia was brutal.
