Sometimes less is more. Person who did this really understood/felt texturing well. Created a relaxing pathway with green plants & art decorating the sides, & detailed attention given with the small dark lining the path's sides. The dark stepping stones on the white bed of rocks really has an impact. Stone, slate, granite, or poured concrete can be used for the stepping stones.
