Oak Island - For over 200 years, hundreds of treasure hunters have been searching for a fortune buried in this small island. Going more than 90 feet under the sea level to find this treasure, nothing but despair has loomed over this island. The "Money Pit" has sparked interest because the main shaft where it is said that the fortune is, seems to be man made. However, whenever someone dug to reach the treasure the shaft would flood. How did they dig this "Money Pit"?

Brothers Marty and Rick Lagina from Michigan have been planning to tackle the Oak Island curse for years and now they have turned their treasure hunt into the hit reality tv show on History, ‘The Curse of Oak Island’. The first season was only 5 episodes and a 2nd season is now in the works. After digging all over the island and finally draining a man made swamp, which was in the shape of a triangle said to possible be linked to Knights Templar and perhaps the Masons.
