1962 - Glamourous First Ladies. Mme, Felix Houphouet-Boigney and Mrs John F. Kennedy are two of the most glamorous first ladies in the world today. Both well educated and highly cultured, the first ladies recently got together when President Houphouet-Boigny of the Ivory coast and his wife paid a state visit to Washington, D.C. The toast of the Capital, Mme. Houphouet-Boigney charmed the diplomatic set and the press as well. Dressed in Dior creations, she held her own with Mrs. Kennedy.
