Jadeite kitchenware, also known as "Fire King Jade-ite", is a type of glass tableware made of Jade-green opaque milk glass.

In the early 1950s, Procter & Gamble introduced a powdered laundry detergent  called “Duz” claiming, “Duz does Everything!” and worked even in the hardest water. It was the company’s promotional gimmick, though, that got my mother interested: they were offering a set of free china! One dish item, white with a golden wheat pattern and gold edging, would be placed in each box of Duz, eventually providing the loyal shopper with the complete set of china dishes, good enough for company.
