Having a chronic illness is hard. I never know when I'll have a "good" day & at any moment my symptoms can flare or side effects from my meds can kick in. That makes it hard for me to plan things & even harder to be the "life of the party" that I want to be. If I can't plan something or I have to cancel plans with you, don't take it personally. I'm not shady, I'm sick.

How to love and support someone with a Chronic Illness. A little patience and an understanding that the struggle is real. You can't always understand the illness but you can believe it.

One way or another.............

When people say, "Wow, at your age?!" or, "I'm so sorry you're dealing with this so young," I know they mean well, but it's so frustrating. I'm young. I'm chronically ill. This is a thing. I'd love to show my body my ID, but I can't, so let's move on from that.
