Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich created this illusion of people walking underwater called The Swimming Pool, for The Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. It's a piece of glass with water on top of it, and empty space on the bottom.
An inset glass box is used here to capture the reflected light of an outdoor Zen garden and to bring it indoors along the floor. The wall becomes a glowing prism of light during the day, and a glowing alcove as seen from the outside at night.
LIGHT: This is a photography of a hallway in a cathedral. There is very white, visual light shining through the windows which creates shadows on the floor. The design is very clear and simple because there are no colors or any disaccords.
