08 I found this image from the Korean War at  http://www.koreanwaronline.com/history/Appleman/Frames/SC349306.htm along with a brief story.  I wonder what Sgt. Herbert was thinking as he looked upon the lifeless body of this dead communist soldier.  Did he feel a victor?  A conqueror, defending a nation, an ideal?  Did he feel at peace?  Or does he wonder when someone will be standing over his body, contemplating these very things?
