Here, we see ANY kind of dissent against national war efforts being framed as a form of murder. As such, it effectively makes resistance not only a crime, but also a kind of tacit support for the enemy. This really goes beyond manufacturing consent or making war on protesters by making any kind of uncertainty deviant and unpatriotic. In doing so, it equates critical thought with anti-U.S. sentiments. In the end, it demands absolute support for the nation, its government and thus, its wars.

The concentration camp in Sisak consisted mostly of children. They took children away from their parents and attempted to re-educate them. Instead, many were beaten, died of disease, and starved to death. Red Cross employees teamed up with Yugoslavs and tried to smuggle out as many as children as they could, saving their lives.

When I go to the Boston Marathon now, I have wet shoulders....women fall into my arms crying. They're weeping for joy, because running has changed their lives. They feel they can do anything. ~ Katherine Switzer

De man naast hem is juist erg rustig.
