Omphalotus olearius: Jack-o-lantern fungus is seen here in daylight although its splendour really grows after sunset. The gills on the underside of these orange fruiting bodies glow an eerie green in the dark!

Fun-fun-fungus! -- I know this is not a flowering plant, but I have no special place for it. When I get more fungi, they get a board of their own.

~~ one of the prettiest fungi to be found in the average back garden, also one of the most harmless. Rainbow fungus grows in tiers of scallop shaped brackets with multi coloured stripes ranging from greys, browns to purple & olive green.

Blue Turkeytail Fungi / even the microorganisms have their function and  drive to it's part in the grander of Nature and the plan of the  almighty God.
