DIY knife block - I just glued together the covers of some interesting books i found at the thrift store and secured them with twine. the tight pages of the books hold the knives in place. plus at 4 dollars total cost i can afford to do this again in a few years when the books start to shred.

Books of the Bible Spinner game - This is a fun game we have used for years in Bible Drill. Create a spinner (or purchase a blank one from a school supply store) with four sections. Label section 1 - Pronounce it, section 2 - Say the book before, section 3 - say the book after, section 4 - Find the book. Add cards with the names of the books of the Bible. Great review!

Apply crafts glue to the inside back cover and close the book. When dry, apply glue to the book's edges and let dry. Mark a rectangle on the first page about 1 inch from the sides. Use a craft knife to cut along the mark and through several pages. Remove the cut pages & continue to desired depth. Seal the cut pages with glue.
