I love it when artists play with nature in their work. In particular I have a thing for that kind of art that puts nature into a different perspective and makes you look at it in another way. A selection of artists have done exactly.

pavement carpet  -do a series of rugs representing different cultures: moroccan rug, persian rug, south american, south/east asian, etc. -if do plants as well, can include cultural variety

Wouldn't this be great for a runner down the wedding aisle or cute indoor outdoor carpet? Take a plastic lace tablecloth and spray paint it on lengths of colored fabric or burlap. Repeat for the length of the runner.

The great escalator was made for The Simpsons movie. It features everyone’s favorite dolt chomping down on donuts at the bottom of the escalator. It looks like Homer Simpson eating a veggie burger.
