A Japanese ivory netsuke of Oguri Hangan and the Go table. Kiyozumi, possibly from Kyoto, 19th century. Depicting Oguri Hangan (1398-1464) standing his horse with all four feet on the surface of a Go table. Himotoshi using the horse back legs. Signed: "Kiyozumi" on the side of the Go table. 2 1/8"h x 2"w.  Note: A similar piece is illustrated in George Lazamick's "Netsuke & Inro artists and how to read their signatures", page 626. Provenance: Ex. Collection of a Private US Collector.
