Hooded Parrot (Psephotus dissimilis) is a species of parrot native to the Northern Territory in Australia. It is found in savannah and open woodland and is one of two extant species that breed in termite mounds.
Orange-bellied parrot, one of the world's rarest birds. With a wild population of fewer than 50 birds, this iconic Australian parrot is critically endangered. They breed in Tasmania and migrate to Victoria and South Australia for the winter.
