Something new! Trying galaxy and scattered water droplets background with my new set of distress inks and Bielo cardstock. After distress ink paper, this is the best so far for making backgrounds with distress inks. Thanks @nehabhatt for introducing me to these! By Patsy Collins. Watercolor Wash. Dry emboss background panel using "Lattice" folder. Swipe dye ink pads on craft sheet and spritz lightly with water. Use paintbrush or water brush to pick up ink and paint over embossed panel. Cut glossy cardstock squares; paint with spritzed ink; stamp with black VersaFine and heat emboss with clear powder. Add black mats under squares; pop them up onto embossed panel layered onto a black card base. Flowers from "Pocket Silhouettes" by Stampin' Up.

By Patsy Collins. Use bottom of water bottle to stamp all over white cardstock panel in VersaMark. Heat emboss with gold powder. Sponge with multiple colors of ink. Mat on black cardstock panel then on orange card base. Focal panel: Stamp flower, inked with pad corners, on white cardstock. Die cut with rectangle die; leave paper in die; sponge background. Remove from die. Mount on black cardstock then on card. [Flower stamp from "Shadow Flowers 1" by Local King.]

Attach to card front after inking edges with pad direct-to-paper. Stamp image on white cardstock then die cut (Spellbinders). Cut rectangle, round corners, then ink with pad direct-to-paper to match ink used in the flower & background. Attach image piece to inked rectangle. Pop up on card.
