Tamara Natalie Madden. Inspired, by the Gustav Klimt's golden period & images of royalty from Egypt and West Africa; she turned regular folk into representations of nobility. In her view, is seemed a way to allow them to be depicted for who they were intrinsically; kings, queens and warriors, in their own right. The embellishments with rich fabrics and gold present an opportunity for these people to be seen. Quilted clothing conveys both distinction and nostalgia, birds represent freedom.
