Pleioblastus Auricomis. Not any easy name to roll off the tongue, but it is a wonderful low growing bamboo. It has sunshine yellow leaves and is great for damp dappled shade, where it will lighten any corner and put a smile on your face. It does spread by underground roots so if this is a problem plant it in a large strong pot in the ground. We think it's worth noticing so have put it in our Fab Fronts range. http://plantplots.com/product-category/products/

Euphorbia Amygloides Robbaie. Euphorbias are a bit like marmite, you either love them or hate them!. They are not pretty but they are interesting to look at and the 'flowers' are a cool lime green colour. They do emit a latex like sap so always wear gloves when handling them. We think these are really cool and have used them in our Fab Frionts - better than a hedge no' 3 design http://plantplots.com/product-category/products/
