Percival Lowell's 1911 Stevens-Duryea Model "Y" touring car aka Big Red. The older photo shows Harold and Stanley Sykes in Big Red during the early 1900s. The car was made by the Stevens-Duryea company of Chicopee Falls, MA. In 1938, it was given away to some friends of Lowell's widow who lived in Santa Barbara. In 1989 the car showed up in Flagstaff, restored to its original condition, and it now resides on Mars Hill.
