Pierre Balmain haute couture Mazurka evening ball gown and stole from Spring Summer 1966. Made from pale green ziberline in princess line style with graduated panel of three dimensional flower blooms embroidered by Mesrine and edged in crystal and pearl beads, with matching stole. There is an identical but unlabelled gown in the Musée Palais Galliera collection, which was worn by the Duchesse d'Uzes.
Pierre Balmain couture printed organza gown and stole, circa 1970, labelled and numbered indistinctly, the bodice attached to the fitted collar, matching triangular shawl and belt in tartan print in shades of mauve-pink.

Pierre Balmain couture evening gown 1960s green silk chiffon layered over a pale pink base. The effect of the two colors together is quite beautiful. The bodice, cuffs and hem are extensive and heavily embroidered beaded sequined with pink, gold and clear beads and baubles all perfectly and meticulously done. It is an amazing example of the fine workmanship and attention to detail of couture.
