The Book Thief ~

Instead of Liesel telling Max what the weather is, she bought snow inside for him. This eventually led to a snow fight and building a snowman.

This picture describes the relationship of Max Vandenburg and Liesel Meminger. They are both broken people, living in a broken world. After they meet, they both realize that they need each other. Even though people say "opposites attract", Liesel and Max are very similar but they attract like metal to a magnet.

Max Vandenburg is a jewish man who was forced into hiding from the Nazis. Max is hidden by the Hubermanns by Hans.

Sophie Nélisse in The Book Thief

This is the main character of the book, Liesel. She is known as the "book thief." She is a foster child and she has a love for books.

On Christmas Eve, Max gives Liesel a gift in the basement. That gift is a diary assembled from the pages of Mein Kampf.

"He was her best friend and he was a month from his death..."

These words affect my soul that no words ever and will never do. He taught me so much and I could relate to him in many ways.I don't think I've hated an author this much for killing off a character.

For my historical fiction book I read 'The Book Thief'. I really enjoyed this book. I think there were many unique aspects all throughout this book. One of these aspects is the fact that the narrator is a mystery all throughout the book (I solved this mystery very quickly).
