Lending her inimitable style to the grooves (and sleeves) of 1962′s “Bo Diddley & Company” and 1963′s “Bo Diddley’s Beach Party” albums, [Norma-Jean Wofford's]  guitar prowess created a stir equalled only by that of her skin-tight gold lamé cat suit. Asked by one dauntless investigator how she managed to get into it, Norma-Jean responded by pulling out an over-sized shoehorn.

Otis Redding (September 9, 1941 – December 10, 1967) was an American soul singer-songwriter, record producer and arranger. He is considered one of the major figures in soul music and rhythm and blues, and one of the greatest singers in popular music. After appearing at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, he wrote and recorded "The Dock of the Bay", which became a number-one record on both the pop and R and B charts after his death in a plane crash. Redding lived in Macon, Georgia.
