Spelling practice- beads and pipe cleaners. This would be good word work for sight words too. Or could hot glue pictures to end of pipe cleaners and have students spell the words for each picture using the beads.

The Adventures of Bear: See and Spell. Fine motor needed for pinning and placing. Maybe another idea for clothes pins as well?

My daughter is too old for the letter matching task, but love the idea of the clothes-pins. Going to make more complicated, teen-friendly game and use the clothes-pin instead. They would be great for her fine-motor skills and hand strength.

Name matching. Could use other words too, for early letter/word recognition.

learning how to spell your name - love the velcro idea, makes it reusable, fun and easy to store- great way to teach her the family names!

This is neat! Just use solid color spoons and clear spons, and have them match the upper and lower case letters! I bet it would work fine for numbers and dots, too.
