Etruscan death demons  from Necropolis - these two could almost be modern-day comic book characters looking at the style of the drawings but they were most likely painted in semi-darkness hence the thick black lines....the artist wouldn't have been able to distinguish fine lines very well in the poor lighting. I especially love the winged demoness.
