switchplate covers: Use scrapbook paper & modge podge to seal the paper to the covers.    After it is dry, use a xacto knife to cut around the outline of the covers.    if there are spots the paper did not cover, use a similar color paint to touch-up.

DIY Modge Podge - fill jar half way up with white glue, then fill jar up with water. This is a mixture glue/water. It will have a Matte finish. If you would like a Glossy finish, add 1 TBS of clear varnish. Note: may yellow over time.
