Ali Gomaa's Fatwa on: Question: I feel sometimes that I am lazy and I have to drag myself to worship. For example I used to keep up praying the obligatory and additional sunnah prayers and also I used to fast every Monday and Thursday but all of a sudden I find myself unable to keep my previous pace in worship as I feel very lazy when I pray and unable to fast the voluntarily fasting and I say to myself “I will only fast Ramadan”. How do you explain my fluctuation in worship?
