Sara, the wife of  Misha  Rubinsonas , Misha  and Sara  were among  the first that fled from the  Nazi occupied ghetto of Kovno on December 14, 1943 and joined the Resistance. After the war, Sara became professor of political economy at the University of Vilnius, who left after almost 25 years teaching to emigrate to Canada in 1983, has published ten books in Vilnius and two more in Toronto.
