Here's a shot of Richard Gere's 1958 Gibson Flying V. Made of Korina wood with gold-plated hardware and in excellent condition, the guitar was originally owned by Albert King, the legendary bluesman who helped make the V the iconic instrument it is today. The guitar sold at auction for $74,500. Adding to its value is that Gibson allegedly sold fewer than 100 of the earliest Vs between '58 and '59.
