A midget drove this around in CA. Wish I still had my Oscar Mayer Weiner Whistle!

There was a midget who lived a couple of doors down from us in Chicago and he was one of the Oscar Meyer men who rode around in these weiner-mobiles.

Wow, I remember so many hours spent trying to get that perfect recording for the "favorites" tape. The lost art of making a mix tape. the good times, remember the good times!

MAKE A MIX TAPE! Its hard to come by cassettes these days let alone cassette players. None the less, making someone a mixtape, or a playlist on spotify or sound cloud, is still VERY romantic!

Mixtape making, recording off the radio, pausing at the adverts - retro till we die

Oh the Mixed Tape.I would still rock mine if I had a tape deck in my car.

The windows in our car don't roll down at all! Ohhhhhhh wait I drive an old truck solo I do roll down the Windows !

Roll down the window. Forgot we opened the window like this in a car. To answer the question I never say roll the window down.

Roll down the window. this is so true. The first time my kids saw one of these they thought the car was broken.

I'm not certain why they still make cars with these. Talk about a distraction! I remember when my 7 year old daughter saw this for the first time in a neighbor's car. She said that when she got a car, she wanted one with those cool roll down windows.

Flash Cubes

Flashcubes for Instamatic Camera (aka-blind your kids at Christmas time!) Still remember; the sound, the flash, the smell .

Flashcubes - remember the smell after you used them? Can always remember it was a Christmas shopping ritual to make sure you bought BOTH rolls of film AND enough flash cubes to match the number of photos on the roll(s) of film.

Flashcubes, I remember when I burnt my forehead with one when I was little and held the camera backwards.

I had an Instamatic camera that used flash cubes. I was about the only child in my class who had a camera and I have some great old photos of the classrooms and field trips.
