Karl Thorston Skoog (age 11) drowned in the Titanic tragedy when he and his family were returning to America after a visit to Sweden. They were returning to their home in Iron Mountain, Michigan.  Karl was lost along with his entire family. Only the body of one of the two young ladies traveling with them was found.
