Deze tiara was een cadeau voor prinses Maud van Wales toen zij in 1896 met prins Karel van Denemarken trouwde. Het was een geschenk van haar ouders. De tiara is bezet met diananten en parels. In 1905 werd Karel gekozen tot koning van Noorwegen. Hij nam de naam van Haakon VII aan. De tiara bleef in het bezit van de Noorse kroon.

The Vasa Tiara. This diamond tiara, currently owned by Princess Astrid, takes its name from the symbol of the Vasa family, which makes up the center element of the tiara. The tiara was given to Astrid's mother, Crown Princess Märtha, as a wedding present in 1929.
