Ovos mexidos com farinheira/Scrambled eggs with "farinheira": If you're not Portuguese nor you know that much about Portuguese cuisine, you should be asking what's this. Farinheira is a Portuguese smoked sausage made mainly from wheat flour, pork fat and seasonings (white wine, paprika, salt and pepper). Fry it, and mix some eggs with it, fry it a little bit longer (not much!). Eat it with toasts and you can die in peace:P

Then mix flour with salt and pepper and coat the fish with this mix. Fry it and let it cool down a bit in a paper towel. Serve it with lemon or lime!

Alheira de Mirandela: It's a kind of portuguese sausage, usually made out of chicken - it was actually a dish that the Jews made to deceive the Inquisition in medieval times. It's usually served fried with a fried egg, rice, and french fries and/or some cabbage - it's a cholesterol bomb but it's so yummy!
