Jamina silently stood behind the heavy curtain, listening to two men arguing. "You can't marry her!" he father shouted. Jamina whirled around and ran down the hall into the garden. The damp, dark air gently hugged her. "Why, father, why? I love him!" she yelled into the darkness. But nobody was listening. She sank down to the floor in anguish, sobbing her heart out for her one true love.
