La cité la plus ancienne du monde. Cette découverte se situe sous la colline abritant l’ancien château byzantin de la ville de Nevşehir. La cité étant creusée dans une roche naturelle, il est encore difficile de la dater précisément mais certaines sections remonteraient, selon les premières estimations, à 5.000 ans av. J-C.
